Challenge = Create over 100 illustrations!
UPDATE
Here is the list of my progress (which is not so great, but I am working on it!!!). I takes me between 40 to 60 minutes to complete one illustration prior to scanning and all the cleaning that must be done in Photoshop. I am planning to draw approximately 100-130 illustrations.

- Base (2 large-scale illustrations)
- Chapter 1 - Little Prince planet (~ 20)
- Chapter 2 - King (23 Illustrations)*
- Chapter 3 - Conceited man (~15)
- Chapter 4 -Tippler (8 Illustrations)*
- Chapter 5 - Businessman (~20)
- Chapter 6 - Lamplighter (~20)
- Chapter 7 -Geographer (~20)
Challenge = TEXT

As it was decided the chapters or so-called little books won't be in a circular shape. Instead, they will be cut in traditional way. This will solve the problem with text being too tight and give more breathing room for illustrations.
However, I was wondering about further solutions for text. Going back to my initial sketches, I have discovered that text can become part of illustration.

Illustrations - Kingdom
ILLUSTRATION
Finally Little Prince character illustration is born! Here are some of the illustrations I have created for King chapter. In total, there were 23 illustrations.
In this Chapter Little Prince travels through different planets and visits the King. Although, King is depicted by author as a person of faulty power, in this book, the roles of secondary characters are performed by different types of birds. Why? This is simple. Instead of depicting drunk man, powerful king, man who shows off, it is less harmful to depict the animal that posses same qualities as a given character. For example, peacock is full of himself and is a great character for show-off man. There will be more discussion and explanation of this as I proceed with my work.
